Teledrama director dies in collision

Teledrama director Nalaka Wedamulla died on the spot and three others were injured in a head-on collision of two motor vehicles in Navinna, Maharagama yesterday, the Police said.

Wedamulla directed the tele drama Itimal. He was also the assistant director of the teledrama Labai Apple.

The three who were injured, were admitted to Kalubowila Hospital.

The driver of the car in which Wedamulla was travelling, fled the scene after the incident.

Wedamulla, 36, was a father of one.
