Logos, flags for National Parks

All National Parks in the country will be given logos and flags, Wildlife Conservation Department Director General Dr Chandrawansa Pathiraja told the Daily News yesterday.

Accordingly, 21 logos and flags will be created for the 21 National Parks. They will be used as official signs of those parks thereafter, he said.

He said that logos will contain unique features of each National Park. The Director General said that the general public is also given a chance to send their creative sketches for logos. The closing date will be June and the coupon to send the proposed logos will be published in the Daily News, Dinamina and Thinakaran newspapers, he said.
