Lake House Amadahara Vesak Zone

The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (ANCL) will hold the Amadahara Vesak Zone for the 10th time in succession from May 17 to May 19 opposite the Lake House building.

The area beginning from Lake House to Air Force Headquarters, Presidential Secretariat and the Telecom Headquarters and D R Wijewardene Mawatha will be colourfully illuminated during this period.

A Vesak lantern competition and exhibition will take pride of place within the Amadahara Vesak Zone.

The programme includes Bakthi Gee recitals and devotional songs, puppet shows, and Danselas.

Electronic media sponsors will be Derana FM radio and Derana TV.
