Visakhians win annual Water Polo tourney

A keen tussle of prove their supremacy in the game saw the jubilant visakhians carry home the Bishop Chapman Challenge Trophy at the Police Pool complex recently when they won goals to 1 in the final. The winning team captained by Shivani Gunawardena displayed sheer determination throughout the game supported immensely by the goalie, Sachini Seneviratne's brilliance in protecting the goal proving their excellence once again after suffering many setbacks this season.

At the end of the first quarter saw the Visakhians leading 2,0 taken by Limashi Kosgodage and Akshana Perera. At the end of the second quarter Bishops earned their only goal taken by Aneeza Fowsie and Visakha scored one goal taken by Limashi Kosgodage.

At the end of third quarter yet another goal was scored by Limashi Kosgodage.

At the end of the fourth quarter Akshana Perera scored a goal putting the icing on the cake for the Visakhians.
