Committee to look into agri ministry blaze

Agriculture Minister Mahinda Yapa Abeywardene yesterday appointed three member committee to look into the fire that erupted in the second floor of the Ministry where its project and planning department was located.

This committee will conduct an investigation into the incident to ascertain the cause and the persons who should be responsible for the incident.

According to Ministry sources, the committee has been entrusted with the task of estimating the damaged caused by the fire.
