J'pura Deputy Mayor, three others arrested

Police Spokesman SSP Prishantha Jayakody told the Daily News that Kotte Municipal Council Deputy Mayor Janaka Ranawaka and three other suspects were arrested yesterday night by the Police for the alleged assault and forcible entry into the Derana Television studio complex at Delkanda.

Ranawaka along with several others had entered the Derana Television premises and had allegedly assaulted an employee last afternoon.
