Press Council workshop for provincial media men

A workshop for provincial media persons was held recently at the Victoria Inn, Moneragala by the Sri Lanka Press Council. It was addressed by Prof Sunanda Mahendra and veteran journalists Karunadasa Suriyarachchi and Ariyananda Dombagahawatta.

The theme of the workshop was " The role of the provincial media person."

Sri Lanka Press Council Chairman W Dayaratne PC, Mass Media and Information Ministry Additional Secretary Sujan Nanayakkara, Moneragala District Secretary U K S Mihindukulasuriya and Wijitha Berugala MP also participated.
