Asia Network Summit begins
The third annual Asia Network Summit brings together Asia’s national
microfinance associations to improve their collective ability to
strengthen the microfinance industries in their respective countries.
The Banking with the Poor Network will hold a two-day meeting in
Colombo where representatives from 10 national microfinance associations
from across Asia will hold discussions focused on improving their
collective ability to strengthen the microfinance industries in their
respective countries.
Asia Network Summit 2010 is convened by BWTP, organised by FDC, in
partnership with the SEEP Network, ADA Luxembourg and Citi Foundation.
This is the third annual Asia Network Summit after Hanoi in 2008 and
Singapore in 2009.
The Asia Network Summit participants will cover a range of topics
including advocacy, consumer protection, triple-bottom-line reporting,
network cooperation, and network operational tools. |
