D K Promotions have put together a great evening of entertainment
with a concert featuring popular songs of the 1960s and 1970s. Titled
'Wonderful Sounds of the 70s, the event will be held at Ananda College
Kularatne Hall on October 9. These tracks were popular hits by Chithra
Somapala, Sunil Santha, C T Fernando, M S Fernando, Clarence Wijewardena,
Milton Mallawarchi, H R Jothipala, Wally Bastian and many others.
The songs will be sung by Mariazelle, Ivor Dennis, Priyantha
Fernando, Susil Fernando, Lalith Ponnapperuma, Indrani Perera, Ronnie,
Damayantha Kuruppu, Derana Dream stars Chethana and Kasun Madusanka.
The music will be by Vison. Kalum Srimal will compere. It is a show
