Asian Dragons to play two matches here

The Asian Dragons, a team comprising ruggerites mainly from Japan, Korea and Hong Kong will arrive in the country today to play two matches against the SLRFU President's XV on October 15 and 18.

The first match between the SLRFU President's XV and Asian Dragons on October 15 (Wednesday) will serve as a trial to pick the Sri Lanka team for the Asian Nations Division One Tournament in Chinese Taipei from November 12 to 15, 2008.

The SLRFU will field its best possible team for the second game on August 18 (Saturday) which would give the national team the much needed exposure against foreign opposition which would stand them in good stead when they take part in the four nation tournament in November.

The SLRFU will also take this opportunity to conduct coaching camps for the Sri Lanka team by the national coaches of Japan and Hong Kong who will be here with the Asian Dragons team.
