Security concerns loom large over Sethu project
While the political controversy rages, it has now
been revealed that security implications were not even considered
before the Sethu project was started. The navy and the coastguard
were not even consulted, a CNN- IBN report said.

20 LTTEers killed, bunkers destroyed
Twenty LTTE cadres were killed and many others
injured during a confrontation with the Security Forces yesterday
morning in Kilali, Jaffna, while forces also destroyed three LTTE
bunkers.
