Misappropriation of public funds and defrauding public revenue

The unanimous judicial opinion on the Tax Amnesty Law delivered on March 26, 2004 by a 5-Member Bench of the Supreme Court, has pronounced that the said law had condoned the misappropriation of public funds collected from the public on behalf of the State.
