Man transports cannabis

A 56-year-old father of six was arrested by Galle Police at Magalle, Galle while he was travelling in a bus with one kilogram of cannabis in his possession.

Investigations revealed that the suspect has carried out the illegal drug trafficking from Tanamalwila to Galle for long using public transport. He was to be produced before Galle Magistrate yesterday evening.
