Pubudu Engineering recives SL IEC 61439 for 'Powerlink' Panels

Pubudu Engineering (Pvt) Ltd., one of Sri Lanka's leading companies in the electro mechanical engineering sector, has been recently granted the honour of entitling themselves the first Sri Lankan panel manufacturers to have obtained design verification type testing certification for 4000 A as per IEC 61439, which in simpler terms, insinuate that the company's products have been manufactured under precise specifications and internationally accepted standards.

The company with its humble beginnings, ventured into the engineering arena in the year 1991, is at present an internationally recognized organization that had been graded as an EM1 company by the Institution for Construction Training and Development (ICTAD) and is also ISO 9001-2008 certified.

Pubudu Engineering, manufactures a variety of quality products that have been created through new technological concepts, innovation and years of expertise and experience. Among the said range of products are: main switch boards, distribution panels, synchronized panels, motor control panels, auto transfer panels, auto mains failure panels, power factor correction capacitor banks, etc.

The company also fabricates modular type Box enclosures, 19" rack systems, feeder pillars, cable management systems for indoor and outdoor application (galvanized and powder coated) and cable ducts. All products had been launched under the company's well recognized brand names of "PowerLink"& Sys Rack for modular panels and Computer Racks respectively. PE's subsidiary company, Pubudu Engineering Projects (Pvt) Ltd., graded as EMI category, which had been established with the intention of diversifying the business, undertakes electro mechanical projects and is well versed in turnkey projects.

Having won a number of awards such as the Business Leader the Year, Gold award in 2006, SLCSI Industrial Excellence award 2007/2010, Best Local Product Display INCO award 2008, CNCI Achiever of Industrial Excellence award 2011, INCO award for Best Technological standard in 2012 and PE's most recent achivement; the prestige award of SLCSI Industrial Excellence Platinum award 2013, it is with great pride that PE has over the years expanded its market to Bangladesh, Maldives and Australia, apart from the local market.
