D-Link revised focus on Sri Lanka

D-Link - the end-to-end global networking giant for consumers and businesses plans to enhance its presence in Sri Lanka. With this the company is currently making significant investments in strengthening its position as a premier networking player in Sri Lanka.

Commenting on company strategy, Tushar Sighat, CEO-D-Link for India and SAARC said, "Sri Lanka continues to one of the key market for us in SAARC region, and we are very focused in terms of establishing strong brand credibility in the region. We have already set-up our distribution network in Sri Lanka and are now looking at enhancing our presence across the length and breathe of the country. In view of the same we have recently appointed, Bishwajit Sutradhar as Country Manager for Sri Lanka."

Bishwajit Sutradhar, Country Manager, D-Link, Sri Lanka bring with him over 15 years of experience in Sales and Business development in IT domain. With his in-depth market knowledge and excellent business management skill, Sutradhar will work towards enhancing D-Link market share and establishing a strong brand value in networking space. Prior to D-Link, Sutradhar also has had a successful stint with organizations like Cyberoam, Avaya, Linksys. He has also been part of D-Link India team during 2004 to 2008.

We are also determined to witness significant growth in the coming year and have already outlined our strategy for Sri Lanka market", said Bishwajit Sutradhar, Country Manager - D-Link, Sri Lanka.

As part of the strategy D-Link hosted a multi-city road show that offered training to its partners in Sri Lanka in Colombo, Matara, Negombo and Kandy last week. The seminar aims to introduce partners to the world of award winning D-Link networking products. Live product demo will be conducted so as to give partners first hand product experience.

The work-shop conducted by D-Link will offer insights into the working of networking products. Additionally D-Link will also be introducing incentive scheme for channel partners in Sri Lanka during the meet.
