Permanent appointments for more graduates

Arrangements are in place to absorb all newly appointed graduates
above 35 years in to the permanent cadre of the state service, Public
Administration and Home Affairs Minister W.D.J. Seneviratne said.

The graduates who received permanent appointments in the state
service should understand the current situation of the country and work
intelligently, he said.
Minister Seneviratne was addressing a ceremony at the Public
Administration and Home Affairs Ministry to hand over permanent
appointment letters to the newly recruited graduates who completed the
one year training at the ministry.
The minister handed over 43 letters. This is the second batch that
received permanent appointment letters after completing the training
period in the ministry.
He said the government was looking forward for the contribution of
Sri Lankan youths for the country's development.
Seneviratne requested the newly recruited graduates to join hands
with the government to make Sri Lanka the "Wonder of Asia".
