Future Minds in Kandy

FUTURE MINDS, National Higher Education and Career Exhibition would be held in Kandy from June 29 to 30 at the City Centre, Kandy. It would also be held in at the Galle Municipal Council Hall on September 7 and 8 for the benefit of the students and the Southern province public.

The Future Minds Exhibition was initiated in 2006 with "No One Left Behind," as the Motto of the exhibition.

The aim of the exhibition was to make an ideal career gateway for Sri Lankan students to select the best avenue of education among the enormous opportunities that were available in the up growing education industry. It also provides a platform where students who were keen in pursuing higher education in affiliated foreign universities both local and international, to meet all local and foreign higher education providers.

This event was also an ideal opportunity for parents to visit and get to know how their children could face the future by making correct decision, concerning their child's higher education. The event was being organized by the Nalanda Junior Old Boys Association.

Future Minds started with a humble beginning with the motto of "No one left behind" and this is the 7th consecutive year that it was being held.

The Exhibition held last week at the BMICH in Colombo has been a success and declared open by Fisheries & Aquatic Resource Development Minister Dr. Rajitha Senaratne. More than 175 educational service providers representing diverse fields of education would be present at the exhibition from several countries, including New Zealand, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, USA and India.

The Colombo exhibition witnessed the awarding to the winners who participated at the talent tests, essays, arts and blog competitions conducted to test the Future Minds of the coming generation. Fisheries & Aquatic Resource Development Minister Dr. Rajitha Senaratne presented the awards and certificates to the winners.
