Girls High School, Kandy has won the All Island under 15 'B' Division Badminton Championship for the Janaka Bogollagama Memorial Shield held recently at the Welagedera Stadium, Kurunegala.

In addition, they won four sports titles namely under 15 and under 19 Carrom, under 17 Volleyball and under 15 Table Tennis at the Central Province Competitions organised by the Department of Education Kandy.

School teams of Matale, Kandy and Nuwara Eliya participated in these tournaments.
