Thurstan in six-wicket win

It took the atmosphere of a Mini Battle when Thurstanite Junior Cricketers met their arch rivals Junior Pathanians in their inter-school under 15 division two tournament cricket match worked off at Thurstan Junior grounds and Thurstan won by six wickets on Parabola System. Taking the first lease Pathanians were bowled out for 90 runs with Vihanga Giruwage claiming 3 for 9. In reply Thurstanites notched up the required runs for the loss of four wickets with Twins Pasindu Sandeepa unbeaten on 33 and Sasindu Adeesha 17 Chamika Ashan captured 3 for 18 runs.
