Moratu Vidyalaya (MV) maintained their unbeaten record in the ongoing
inter-school under-17 division one cricket tournament when they beat
Ananda Sastralaya, Kotte easily by seven wickets and the match was
played at Moratuwa.
Visitors batting first were all out for 93 runs with Akalanka
Madugalle making the top score of 39 while Nipuna Dilshan bagged 3/12
for Vidyalians. In reply homesters passed the opponents' total and they
were 95 for three with Ujitha Gunatilleke and Shanuka Madushan unbeaten
with 36 and 32 runs respectively.
