Kandy District Swimming Champions

Kandy District Swimming Team won the team championship at the Central Province Swimming meet organised by the Ministry of Sports Central Province held at the Peradeniya University Swimming Pool on June 5, 2013. Swimmers from Nuwara Eliya, Kandy and Matale participated. Y M Y Yapa Bandara, the Director of Sports – Central Province was the Chief Guest. K G Kingsly Kumara the District Swimming Co-ordinator was the chief organiser.

Vinoli Siriwardene and Uttama de Silva of the Central Province won three events each for women while O M N Hulangamuwa and Shehan de ilva also from the same province won three events for men.
