Anujaya bowls Lumbini to victory

An excellent spell of bowling 6 for 8 runs by Anujaya Sandaruwan enabled Lumbini Vidyalaya to beat Veluwana Vidyalaya, Colombo by nine wickets in their inter-school under 15 division one cricket match played at Petersons grounds, Colombo.

Visitors batted first all out for 52 runs and in reply Lumbini scored 53 for 1. VV – 52 (Yasiru Hewage 21, Anujaya Sandaruwan 6/8). LV – 53/1 (Charith Mihiranga 20, Mathiyas Nimantha 18).
