Nawaloka Hospital Services now on mobile app

Nawaloka Hospital, Sri Lanka's first large scale private healthcare institution, has introduced a mobile application (app) for android users. Available free of charge, this app gives users a comprehensive overview of the hospital's facilities and services with a range of useful options. A version for Apple users will also be available soon.

Information available on this app includes a description of Nawaloka Hospital and its history, along with current news and events which users would find interesting as well as informative. Additionally, the app will enable them to stay abreast of Nawaloka Hospital's activities and new developments taking place such as more advanced medical services, etc.

In addtion, with the user's convenience in mind there is a list of useful telephone numbers, such as emergency numbers, ambulance, ETU (Emergency Treatment Unit), etc. providing access to this information at the touch of a button.

Even details of medical packages and the hospital's medical services can be accessed along with the names of consulting doctors and consultation times. In addition, Nawaloka Hospital has included a complete list of their islandwide branch network and contact numbers, so that patrons may avail themselves of the testing facilities and other services available at the nearest branch.

The mobile app, which has the additional convenience of a payment gateway for the reservation of rooms, will facilitate channelling payments too in the future. Another unique feature available is the floor plan of the entire hospital, enabling patrons and visitors to find their way around with ease, saving time spent in making enquiries. Patrons wishing to reserve rooms have a special option which is a 'Virtual Tour' of the different types of rooms, giving them a 360 degree view of all the facilities available in each one. This would enable them to make their choice and reserve at the click of a button without the hassle of having to visit the rooms first.

In addition, a push notification on this mobile app enables patrons to have health and lifestyle tips reach them regularly, encouraging them to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
