National Billiards from June 17

The district level contests of the 61st National Billiards Championship will commence with the Colombo district competition with 51 cueists battling it out from June 17 to 22 at the Sugathadasa Sports Hotel to book a berth in the all island level tournament.

Colombo received the highest number of district level entries while Galle being the second highest with 12 entries. Kandy and Nuwara Eliya districts had 11 players each and the matches will be worked off in respective districts.
