Housing loans for rain-hit

The National Housing Development Authority (NHDA) will grant housing loans totalling Rs 6.5 million to families affected by the recent adverse weather. Around 198 houses were totally damaged and another 26 were partially damaged.

The NHDA will grant housing loans on the directive of Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities Minister Wimal Weerawansa.

The loans will be handed over to the family members at a function to be held under the patronage of Minister Weerawansa today at 1 pm at the Pradeepa Auditorium of the Maligawatte Flats Scheme.
