Vidyalians draw with arch rivals

Moratu Vidyalaya drew with their arch rivals Sri Sumangala College, Panadura in their inter school under 19 division one relegation cricket match played at Panadura. However, according to the points of the match Vidyalians are leading and they will now remain in the schools division one cricket tournament.

Sumangalians resuming the day two in reply to Vidyalians mamoth total of 461 for 7 declared batted whole day and at the close they were 212 for 5 with Geeth Samarasinghe making the top score of 54 runs and a healthy contribution from Vishad Randika who contributed 45 runs. Devinda Fernando claimed 2 for 55 for the visitors.
