Civil Aviation Authority sub office at MRIA

Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa will lay the foundation stone for a proposed sub office building of the Civil Aviation Authority at the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA) complex on June 11 at 8 a.m on the invitation of Civil Aviation Minister Priyankara Jayaratne. Deputy Minister Geethanjane Gunawardena and Hambantota District Parliamentarian

Namal Rajapaksa will also be present on the occasion. A press release by the Civil Aviation Authority said the new sub office is aimed to perform the responsibility of operating the Mattale Airport according to specified international standards.

The release said the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka has gained first place in South Asia and fourth place in the Asia-Pacific region for ensuring the safety and security of Civil Aviation Sector in keeping with International standard.
