Electoral Registers at GN offices, DS's
A large number of people visiting the District Elections Offices to
note down particulars in the electoral registers of the past five years
for admission of their children to government schools in 2014, has
caused an immense impediment to the day to day activities of the
Department of Elections, states Elections Commissioner Mahinda
Deshapriya in a press release.

exhibited at Grama Niladhari Offices and Divisional Secretariats
islandwide, the general public will be able to have a hassle free access
to refer the documents there.
Grama Niladhari Officers remain at their offices on every Monday and
Thursday and on Saturdays from 8.30 am to 12.00 noon, anticipating
citizens wishing to admit their children to schools for year 2014, are
kindly requested to refer particulars of electoral registers available
either at the relevant Grama Niladhari office or from the Divisional
Secretariat in the area you reside.
