Dove brings out real beauty in every woman
In eye-catching designer tops, dresses, bags and shoes, 48 glitterati
women draped in various styles walked the ramp at the Cinnamon Grand
today. Unilever Sri Lanka's premier hair care brand Dove, together with
beautician Nayana Karunaratne and much acclaimed choreographer Lou Ching
Wong, showcased upbeat trends and styles at the 'Dove Real Women, Real
Beauty' hair show.

With the theme being 'Real Women', this show was unique since all 48
models were from a variety of professions and were fresh on the ramp.
This fashion extravaganza kicked off with the launch of the new Dove
face wash range.
This was soon followed by the hair show with alluring hair styles
done Nayana Karunaratne. The ladies on the ramp showed the audience that
Dove is a brand dedicated to bringing out the real beauty in every
woman. The long awaited 'Real Women, Real Beauty' hair show brought out
the Dove hair care variants to life showcasing the four variants of Dove
hair care range in four different segments: office wear, resort wear,
cocktail wear and evening wear which depicted the latest addition to the
Dove portfolio.
Amal Cabraal, Chairman of Unilever Sri Lanka was the Chief Guest at
the event, while the Guest of Honour was Asanga Ranasinghe Director
Marketing-Home and Personal Care, Unilever Sri Lanka. A host of
celebrities and many other special guests also graced the occasion.
The invited guests enjoyed a night of young, glamorous, upbeat
fashion paired with various types of dance acts.

The eclectic showcase of modern styles and splendid designs were all
in white, with tinges of a colour in each segment depicting the relevant
Dove hair care variants.
The office wear segment focused on power dressing with the clothes
being in all white and bits of sky blue, the casual wear segment was
filled with free flowing hair, along with relaxed and casual outfits.
Though the clothes did not have a range of colours, the designs
brought out the power of white.
The simplicity and elegance in the outfits and hairstyles highlighted
the 'real beauty' in each and every woman showcasing that a real Dove
woman can be beautiful just by being herself.
The highlight of the evening was when the Dove team officially
launched the 'Dove Nourishing Oil Care' variant, extending its hair care
range into the nutritive platform.
The new nourishing shampoo is enriched with vita oils and nutritive
serum that helps transform dry, rough and frizzy hair into smooth hair
that?s easier to manage and style. The Dove intense repair category has
