Nadeesha steers St Anthony's Girls to victory

Double hat-trick by centre forward Nadeesha Warigalahetti spearheaded St Anthony's Girls College, Kandy to an easy 10-0 win over Hemamali Girls College, Kandy, in their girls schools under 17 Kandy District hockey tournament organised by the Kandy Schools Hockey Association and played at the University grounds, Peradeniya on Thursday. At half time the winners led 6-0.

The power play exerted by the Anthonian stickers were too much for the Hemamali Girls that they crumbled under pressure.

Nadeesha Warigalahetti was in drawn one.

Wesley College on the other have done reasonably well this season and could pose a serious to the home team.
