Thomians beat Lumbini

St. Thomas College, Mt Lavinia beat formidable Lumbini Vidyalya by seven wickets on parabola system in their inter-school under 17 division one cricket match played at BRC grounds.

Electing to beat Lumbini collapsed for 94 runs with brothers Dumindu Thilakarathne and Ravindu Thilakarathne taking 3 for 22 and 3 for 3.

In reply Thomians scored 83 for 3 with Dulanjan Silva making the top score of 27 not out.

Lumbini - 94 in 26.4 overs (Vimukthi Ellegoda 38, Dumindu Thilakarathne 3/22, Ravindu Thilakarathne 3/3, Kanishka Perera 2/12).
