AMW Group Managing Director Samantha Rajapaksa awarded PIMA Platinum

The Group Managing Director of Associated Motorways (Private) Limited
(AMW) Samantha Rajapaksa, was awarded the prestigious Platinum Honours
Award by the Postgraduate Institute of Management Alumni (PIMA) of Sri
Jayewardenepura University, at the PIMA Platinum Award Ceremony held in
Colombo recently.

PIMA Platinum Award Ceremony, is conducted annually with the aim of
encouraging the services of PIM graduates who have set benchmarks in
their respective fields, while contributing towards uplifting the
society. Rajapaksa was presented with this prestigious award in
recognition of his professional excellence in the field of management.
Rajapaksa has a track record of over Twenty six years of increasing
responsibility in diverse business organisations, both local and
overseas, with specialisation in strategic planning, business
development, organisational change management and marketing.
Upon receiving the award, Rajapaksa said, "I am honoured to be a
recipient of this prestigious award from PIMA. It is always very special
to be recognised by your peers and very proud to be an alumni member of
the Postgraduate Institute of Management."
Rajapaksa is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Sri Lanka, the Chartered Institute of Management
Accountants of UK and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing
of UK. He also holds an MBA from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
Rajapaksa began his career at Ernst & Young and went on to serve as
Director / GM at Informatics International, Director / Chief Executive
Officer at CF Venture Fund, Group Director of Central Finance Co. PLC,
Senior Project Manager at AT&T Inc. USA and Group Director of Kshatriya
Holdings PLC. |
