Transport, International, the largest professional institute in the
world for professionals and aspiring professionals in the field of
Logistics & Transport.
Bolstered by a very enthusiastic group of members CILT-SL recently
transitioned from a CILT International branch to a territory, signifying
the progression of the local organisation.

re-elected as Vice Chairpersons while Channaka De Alwis and Upali
Gunawardena were retained as Secretary and Treasurer respectively. The

he commented on the unprecedented elevation of CILT-SL to territorial
status, the massive strides made in engaging the youth and women in the
industry through its YPF and WILAT initiatives (Young Professionals'
Forum and Women in Logistics and Transport).
The 2013/14 period marks a very important year for CILT-SL, as it
would be hosting the CILT International Convention at Colombo from June
2 to 7. This momentous event in the global Institute's calendar would
put Sri Lanka under the spotlight as a multitude of foreign delegates
from CILT branches and territories across the globe make the journey to
Colombo to be part of this event. CILT-SL expects to put up an
outstanding show by providing unrivalled hospitality, staying true to
our traditions while creating awareness on what has been achieved and
the opportunities available in the Transport & Logistics industry in Sri
Lanka. |
