Sipdora schols for 20 students

Samurdhi "Sipdora" scholarships were offered to 20 students who were high fliers at the 2011 (GCE) O/L examination and for bright students selected among the Samurdhi beneficiary families in Madampe Provincial Secretaries Division.

Scholarships of Rs 1,000 a month per student will be given till they sit the 2014 August GCE A/L Examination. The total value of this scholarship is Rs 480,000.

Scholars were selected by Samurdhi Development Officers under the direction of Madampe Provincial Secretary Sunanda Herath and Samurdhi Managers.
