Higher ordination
The higher ordination ceremony of Ven Pelesse Vipulasiri Thera, a
student of the Ridigama Weheragoda Purana Viharadhipathi Ven Mulhirigala
Ratanasiri Thera, will be held at the Mangala Uposathagaraya of the
Malwathu Viharaya, Kandy on May 28 at 5.30 pm.
Dhamma talk
Ven Buddhangala Ananda Thera will deliver a public Dhamma talk in
English on May 25 at 4.30 pm at Maithree Hall, Lauries Road,
Bambalapitiya.
Dhamma in verse
Ven Diganwela Suseela Thera will deliver a dhammadesana in verse at
the Jayabima Sama Viharaya, Chilaw on May 24 at 5 pm to mark Vesak Poya.
Seminar
A two day seminar on Agricultural Research organized by the Wayamba
University Agriculture and Plantation Management Faculty will be held at
the University’s Makandura campus on May 30 and 31. UGC chairman Shanika
Hirimburegama will be the Chief Guest.
