The National cricket team of Uganda
called on President Mahinda Rajapaksa who is on a state
visit to Uganda in response to a request made by him
yesterday.The President who witnessed the cricketing talents
exhibited by the team also agreed to provide the services of
Sri Lankan coaches to uplift cricket in Uganda. The
President also presented cricket uniforms to the members of

Sri Lankan food culture needs to be
promoted to attract visitors to Sri Lanka. A programme has
been drawn to this effect by the Culture and the Arts
Ministry through the Cultural Department. Here, Culture and
