No Confidence Motion against Minister Dilan Perera defeated

The No Confidence Motion moved against Foreign Employment Promotion and Welfare Minister Dilan Perera by the UNP was defeated with a majority of 104 votes in Parliament yesterday.

The DNA voted with the Opposition while the TNA was absent at the time of the vote. One hundred thirty six members voted against the motion while 32 members voted for the motion.
