Accused driver nabbed

A bus driver, evading the Police for seven years after committing a fatal accident, was arrested by the Dambulla Police.

He was caught in a residence in Kataragama.

The accident occurred on December 5, 2006 at Pohoranwewa on Galewela-- Dambulla main road, killing Police constable H. M. Gamini Rathnayaka who served at Sigiriya Police.

Dambulla Police are investigating.
