President tells Secretariat staff: Serve public with dedication

President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday told the staff of the Presidential Secretariat to serve the public with dedication and commitment. He told the them, their conduct should be exemplary at all times and should not leave any room for finger pointing at them alleging misconduct or neglect of duties.

The President said so addressing the staff of the Presidential Secretariat when they commenced work after the Sinhala and Tamil New year.

Secretary to the President and Secretariat staff were present on this occasion and work commenced following the invoking of blessings by clergy belonging to all faiths.
