All participants were required to demonstrate the preparation of their dish and had 45 minutes to complete it.

The Grand Prize winner was Nita Wickremasinghe from Nugegoda who received the latest LG Convection Microwave Oven. Her dish of Spicy Chicken which stole the prize, were both appealing to the eye as well as the taste buds.

The two other finalists were Pamela De Silva from Colombo 4 who presented a dish of Baked Mackerel Fish Pie, and Ms. Nadeera Eheliyagoda from Eheliyagoda whose mouth-watering Brownies also entitled her to a consolation prize.

A wide variety of dishes were prepared. All finalists used LG Microwave Ovens, and unanimously agreed on the convenience and ease of operation and the advanced features which made cooking easy and time-saving.

All the participants thoroughly enjoyed the experience of participating in a competition of this nature and expressed their eagerness to try out each others recipes once they got home.
