WELOVEIT Studio celebrates 'Avurudu with Dettol's
WELOVEIT Studio, a specialist social media solutions and an
innovative design service provider, developed a social media engagement
game catering for Dettol, through Facebook celebrating the Sinhala and
Hindu New Year. The competition will be held until April 26 2013.

campaign drives team work this festive season
"Avurudhu with Dettol" is an engagement application bringing the
traditional Avurudu environment and experience virtually to its fans.
This is a first of its kind application in Sri Lanka building cultural
value throughout Sri Lanka as well as a global audience using new media.
Syed Tanzim Rezwan, Marketing Director - Dettol reiterated, "To
create the festive excitement and to entertain our fans through
knowledge we launched "Avurudhu with Dettol" campaign on Facebook. The
application was developed focusing the "Lissana Gaha" The Grease Pole
which is a traditional game in Sinhala/Tamil festivals. All winners will
be entitled to win exciting gifts courtesy Dettol".
This is a team based challenge, to which users can enter the game by
liking the page and by sending an invitation via Facebook to two of
their friends to join the team to play. An avatar will be assigned with
the player name. The players will be asked a sequence of eighteen
questions out of which they will have to give 14 right answers for them
to reach the ultimate goal, the flag. All questions are based on
festival, Dettol and General Knowledge with a timer to make the
competition interesting. Each time a player gives a correct answer
he/she will progress up the pole and if a player answers wrong the
member descends by one level.
