President congratulates new Slovenian PM

President Mahinda Rajapaksa has sent a congratulatory message to new Slovenian Prime Minister of Alenka Bratusek.

"You bring to your office a wealth of experience and knowledge gained over a distinguished professional and political career," President Rajapaksa said. Noting that Sri Lanka and Slovenia enjoy cordial relations, which have enhanced in recent years, President Rajapaksa said he looks forward to working closely with the new prime minister "to further strengthen the bilateral ties for the mutual benefit of our peoples".
