The Matara District Chest Clinic
received the best performance Merit Award for the excellent
implementation of the 5S concept at the Taiki Akimoto 5S
awards ceremony 2012 held at the Galadari Hotel, Colombo
recently. The event was organised by the Japan- Sri Lanka
Technical and Cultural Association (JASTECA). Here, Matara

Health Minister Maithripala Sirisena
participates in a ceremony to distribute 224 new ambulances
worth Rs 2,125 million at a ceremony at the BMICH. A total
of 374 ambulances were imported from Toyota Company, Japan.
Japan International Corporation
Agency will provide 124 ambulances at a cost of Rs 1,050
million. Chief Minister Shashindra Rajapaksa was also
present. |
