Artistes organise Adistana Poojawa

Well known Sri Lankan artistes have organised an Adistana Poojawa and invited their South Indian counterparts to come and see the true situation in Sri Lanka. The Adistana Poojawa has been organised by a group of well known artistes in the cinema, television, music fields etc. The Adistana Poojawa will be held under the theme “Enna Sathya Dakinna Suhadathwaye Aradanawa” on Thursday, April 11 at 4.30pm at Independence Square.

Following the recent activities of a group of South Indian artistes staging protests and passing 8 recommendations against Sri Lanka, the local artistes invite the South Indian artistes to participate in the event. Since certain elements backed by groups serving Western interests are carrying a campaign to bring the country in to disrepute, the South Indian artistes are invited to visit Sri Lanka and see the truth.
