First innings win for Sebastianites

Sebastianite Cricket Club gained a first innings win over United Southern Sports Club by a narrow margin of two runs in their inter-club division one Sara Trophy Tournament match played at Debarawewa.

Resuming at 169 for 8 Sebs were all out for 170 runs and in their second essay United Southern declared at 204 for 9 with Chalana de Silva making the top score of 64 runs while Hashan James captured 4 for 71 for the visitors. At close, Sebs were reeling at 125 for 8 with Chalana de Silva bagging 5 for 45.
