Dr Kosala de Silva will deliver a public talk in English on Dhamma
Follower and the Faith Follower on April 6 at 4.30 pm at Maithree Hall,
Lauries Raod, Bambalapitiya.
Blood donation
A blood donation pinkama will take place today from 9 am to 3 pm at
Arthur C Clark Centre, Katubedda, Moratuwa.
Religious ceremony
A religious ceremony to commemorate the 10th death anniversary of
renowned musician Gunadasa Kapuge will be held today from 6 pm to 8 pm
at Swarnamali Stupa in Anuradhapura under the directions of Swarnamali
Viharaya Chief Incumbent Ven Pallegama Hemarathana Thera. It is held
under the patronage of North Central Province Governor Karunaratne
Divulgane.
A live radio programme of the proceedings will be broadcast over the
Rajarata Sevaya.
Royal College drama contest
Royal College Sinhala Drama Society will hold a short drama contest
at Navarangahala today from 4 pm. Students from Royal, Mahanama,
Sirimavo and Musaeus will participate in this contest. Fourteen awards
will be presented on the same day.
Royal College Sinhala Drama Society Teacher-in-charge Rathna Lalini
Jayakody is organizing this event and all drama lovers are invited. More

Book launch
Four books written and compiled by senior administrative officer
Jinasiri Dadallage will be launched today at 2.30 pm at Sanhinda Hall,
Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration.
The chief guest will be Public Administration and Home Affairs
Minister W D J Seneviratne. Jinasiri Dadallage currently the Home
Affairs Ministry Additional Secretary has a record of 25 years service
as an administrative officer. His books, Towards Administrative
Excellence and Results and Target Oriented Planning will be useful for
officers of the administrative service.
Aranthalawa Haraha Wadara Hayak shares his experience as a Divisional
Secretary in the Ampara District and Adaraneeya Ralahami is a study of
rural lifestyle.
