Bogala Graphite Lanka to wind up Fair Trading

Bogala Graphite Lanka PLC has resolved to wind up Fair Trading (Pvt) Ltd (Fair Deal), bearing registration No. N (PVS) 28590, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, as Fair Deal is winding down its business operations. The director of the company further confirms that the winding up of the operations of Fair Deal is not material to the sustainability of the business activities of the company.

First Capital mulls DNH Financial purchase

First Capital Holdings PLC announced that a subsidiary of First Capital Holdings has had negotiations with ERI PLC on the purchase of its Stock Brokering company DNH Financial (Private) Limited(DNH). An entity controlled by FCH will acquire 100% of DNH for approximately Rs 180 million.

The effective shareholding of FCH will be 70 % of DNH. A share deal agreement will be executed by the parties subsequent to receiving approval of the transaction by the Colombo Stock Exchange and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka.
