Man dies in motorcycle, lorry crash

A man was killed when the motorcycle he was riding, collided with a lorry in Ingiriya on Saturday.

The victim aged 35 was a resident of Talavitiya, Parakaduwa.

The motorcyclist collided with the lorry transporting logs, when the lorry driver attempted to avoid cattle on the road.

The motorcyclist was admitted to Horana Hospital and later transferred to the Colombo National Hospital where he died. Ingiriya Police are investigating.
