Positive attitudes training for Ampara students

A programme produced by the Prime Minister’s Office under the theme Yahapath Sithak - Savimath Ratak to develop positive attitudes will be carried out in the Ampara district parallel to the Deyata Kirula national development exhibition.

Under this programme, essay and art competitions have been conducted on the development of positive attitudes among the school children in the Ampara district.

The awarding of prizes and certificates to the winners will be held under the patronage of Prime Minister D M Jayaratna on the final day of the exhibition.

Arrangements have been made to distribute a booklet on the Prime Ministers of Sri Lanka among the public who visit the exhibition. This booklet will be distributed from the Prime Minister’s Office stall.

Information about the Prime Ministers of Sri Lanka have been prepared in all the three languages. Also the highlights of the local and foreign tours of Prime Minister D. M. Jayaratne will be displayed at the “Prime Minister’s Office” at the exhibition ground.

A video film will also be screened on the highlights of Prime Minister’s local and foreign tours .
