Ladies Stroke Golf from March 24

The biggest golf championship for lady golfers – the Mackwoods Ladies Stroke Golf Championship 2013 organised by the Sri Lanka Union and sponsored by Mackwoods Limited and conducted by the Victoria Golf and Country Resort will be worked off at the beautiful Victoria golf course at Rajawella off Kandy from March 24 to 26. The awards ceremony will be held on the final day.

This championship is open to all amatour lady golfers in the country and the Mackwoods Challenge trophy will be awarded to the golfer returning the lowest aggregated Gross score over the 54 holes in this three round championship.

Any lady golfer will tell that Mackwoods Stroke Play Golf Championship is one of the most looked forward and prestigious tournaments in the ladies golfing calendar.

This championship in the past has been graced by such top lady golfers as Tiru Fernando, Pam Fernando, Suwen Selvaratnam, Thuhashini Selvaratnam, Dhinuka Boralessa, Jacky Dias, Yvonne Abhayaratne and many others.
